  1. Volkswagen ID.4
Hi, I got my ID4 for a week now. I used type 2 charger station at work to charge my ID4 from 13% to 80% limit but I was surprised it was charged upto 88%! Is that normal? This is my second charge for the car, the first time I charged it up to 90% which was fine until later same day before...

If you schedule your EVSE, it will kill power at a certain time that the car's computer doesn't know. Will that sudden stop of power not be hard on the battery over time? We have a Flo X5 and we wanted to use the ID4's scheduling. But. Well. I don't need to elaborate on why we aren't, haha.

Has anyone tried recording statistics during long drives and exporting them to the computer to see in retrospect how temperature, driving speed, and terrain affected efficiency? I have an OBDle VEEPAK dongle and am looking for others' experience with using it.

I am looking for a consensus on the issue of parking ID4 in public lots without access to chargers in the coldest weather. Someone shared this video today - First Snow with the Volkswagen ID.4 1st Edition! - that matches a nearly identical experience I've had in the past weekend. Charged the...

Currently temperatures are in 30F in my area .In Summer 80% charge has given me 3.5 miles per KW producing range of 210+ miles. Now i charged my car to 80% and after loosing 40% battery power it has given only 41miles.I will drive until it goes under 10% and post the miles here. Attached are...

Today we charge mainly using the level 1 charger. Plug in at night, recover 40 miles or so. Occasionally I charge using the L2 at work. Thus we are mainly in the 40-80% of battery range. My question is, is it better to charge a little every day on level 1, or charge a lot every few days on level...

So I'm a new EV owner, having purchased the ID4 Pro S in July. I love driving the car and everything about it except for the lack of range and the shortage of fast chargers in my region. There's only one EA charging station in the entire state. Hopefully more are on the way. I digress... During...

I'll be leaving my FE in an unheated garage from January to April in the cold north, near Buffalo, NY. Will the car hold a charge that long, undriven? Can/should I hook up a trickle charger to the small battery? Any advice is appreciated!

I leave my car outside (carport) during the winter, and wondering if it is a "best practice" to have the vehicle plugged into my Level 2 charger. My preference, lacking guidance, is to only plug in when I need to charge from ~20% to ~80%, as opposed to every time I park the car in my carport...

I got my ID.4 Pro S (RWD) in June. I work from home so I barely drive, but when I do it’s so much fun so I planned a 21hr drive time road trip! I read that if you are planning on doing these kind of long haul trips, it’s ok to charge to 100%. I did that for the first time before I left my...

Discussion on the ID.4's current battery pack made by LG. I recently purchased a Pro S and after seeing transportation evolved talk about another Chevy Bolt fired it's got me worried about the LG battery pack in the ID.4.
