I am new to VW. I am wondering if the 15% back as a rebate on VW accessories that expires at the end of this month is a regular thing or once in a blue moon or unheard of? I was thinking of placing an order and do not know if I should rush to do it now, or if the rebates are normally higher, or what.

If anyone knows the history with this sort of thing I would apreciate anything you could offer! Thank you!

Not sure if it is still going on but if you are considering to buy multiple things, you should have it on one invoice. Otherwise, the 15% will only apply to one item. I bought the cargo mat and sunshade, but got two different invoices. Was able to apply it to my more expensive item which was the cargo mat.

I also think it is one per household which is registered by your address. Still waiting for my rebate to come back but it was approved.

How is the sunshade? Is it just like a generic one but with a logo, or does it fit perfectly in the windshield? Anything to help it stay in lace like the rear sun blockers? I am considering it also! ...and also the rear seat cover. Thank you!

It might be easier to buy accessories through the dealer. Mine threw in a first aid kit for free at time of vehicle purchase. A week later a lowish coupon showed up for accessory purchases over some amount. A month later a much more generous one.
Know the online price before you go, just in case they inflate the base price to makeup for the coupon.

Unfortunately, my dealers prices are so inflated it is almost comical. Thank you though!

Anyone have an opinion on VW accessories vs third party accessories? I was considering picking up the monster mats with this discount but have weathertech mats in my other cars. Any thoughts are appreciated.

It decent for the price. Could be better in my opinion since it's kind of thick and it rolls up, could be hard to store in the car when not in use. You just have to make sure you roll it up tight. I leave mine underneath the trunk storage. Fitting is good but not perfect and can be a hassle to put on since it is a bit thick since it rolls and not fold.

By the way, you should do a Google search for the item you want and see how much each dealers are selling them for around your area. I did this and found out they were different in prices and took that in to my local dealer and they were willing to price match.
