Yeah, the real FEs are in Europe. Ours our just Pros with a couple packages.and so does the color/build chart in the rear area. Maybe VWOA didn't inform VWAG or EA that the US FE was a different model...
We’re you able to get apple maps to auto route you to EV chargers? I read that you had to have another app for apple to recognize you’re driving an EV car and I can’t figure that out.On my recent road trip, Apple maps and even ABRP took me right to the EA chargers. As I have posted elsewhere, the VW navigation system at this point is, in my opinion, useless. I have had too many experiences with its inaccuracy to even consider using it. However, Apple maps using Apple CarPlay projects onto both the Infotainment screen and onto the mini-dashboard showing next turn and distance to that turn. Also, once in the parking lot, I think the EA app will take you to the chargers.
For Apple maps, I just put in the address for the EA charger and it took me right there. ABRP also took me straight to the charger. We’re you able to get apple maps to auto route you to EV chargers? Range will drop based on many factors, cold weather being the largest factor. Search for many other threads on the topic last fall when it first got cold:Hi All,
I just picked up my ID 4 pro which is meant to have 517km range but best I get is 290. This is constantly driving in eco mode. Battery is set to 100%. Outside temp at the moment averages 9 degrees Celsius. Is this right ?
Thank you.Range will drop based on many factors, cold weather being the largest factor. Search for many other threads on the topic last fall when it first got cold:

EV range versus temperature curve (cold weather range drop!)
This site did an in-depth analysis of EV data – drawn from 4,200 connected EVs and 5.2 million trips to make an EV range versus temperature curve. It will be interesting when there is enough ID.4 data to do this same type of graph: https://www.geotab.com/blog/ev-range/www.vwidtalk.com

Winter Conditions: Battery Range reduced by 50% close to...
Currently temperatures are in 30F in my area .In Summer 80% charge has given me 3.5 miles per KW producing range of 210+ miles. Now i charged my car to 80% and after loosing 40% battery power it has given only 41miles.I will drive until it goes under 10% and post the miles here. Attached are...www.vwidtalk.com

Cold Weather Battery SOC
is this normal 158 ml per 86% battery level ? Please advise.www.vwidtalk.com
In addition to cold temperatures, higher speeds are also a big factor in lowering estimated range. Driving at speeds over 65mph over longer distances will also cause the range estimates to drop significantly, mostly due to wind resistance increasing exponentially with increasing speed.Thank you.
True but when it says range should be 517km and you only get 300km it’s a bit unfair as you buy the car based on range. I drive within the speed limit and mainly below 50k/h. Temp is around 10 degrees Celsius so not that cold.In addition to cold temperatures, higher speeds are also a big factor in lowering estimated range. Also, remember that the car's range estimates are just that — estimates, based on a number of variables, some of which you can control and some of which you cannot. There are no guarantees. As the famous saying goes, "your mileage may vary."
What was your overnight low? This is where the battery temp is, and it takes a lot of power (5.5kw) to heat it. The EU range numbers (WLTP) are not as realistic as our EPA numbers. Here our listed range for a pro is 260mi = 418km and many people get this range easily.Temp is around 10 degrees Celsius so not that cold.
At the moment the low is 6 degree Celsius. The best I have ever got it 290 km. Really appreciate the information as I’m trying to figure out where I’m going wrong. I have even started turning off the heater on trips to try and extend battery. What was your overnight low? This is where the battery temp is, and it takes a lot of power (5.5kw) to heat it. At the moment max 50km/h. I’m keeping speed down to conserve battery plus have it set to eco modeHow fast are you driving?
Appreciate they reply. I have tried both ways and still the sameAt that speed I would probably get 450 miles in this Socal weather. Something is up. Use B mode in the city or traffic too as sometimes it nets infinite range.
