I was quoted about the same, between 800 and 900 from 3 contractors. However, that was for a run the width of my house, nearly 40 ft. Qmerit wanted 1000, site unseen (I imagine it might've ended up being more). I also had to upgrade my panel to 200A. $3700 in total.

Speaking of PSE&G what did you have to do to file for their benefits? What documentation did you need from your electrician? Is the bill credit towards the electricity bill only or both electricity and gas?

For the JuiceBox rebate from the state, how long did it take to get it after application?
Charge Up NJ just sent me an email saying they mailed my charger rebate check today. A month and a half after being approved.

I got that email from ChargeUp today too! I also have gotten approval from PSEG, although that was a pain because my electrician invoice wasn't marked "paid" so I had to resubmit the documents plus proof of payment, which the online portal didn't handle well. But they gave me a $500 credit (the cost of the electrician) and enrolled me in the off-peak discount program.

Can you post here where you receive your check please?
I hope it doesn't take another 4 weeks.

I also have an unmarked invoice from the electrician and a separate payment receipt from Qmerit. Do you know if that would work with PSE&G? Did you have to file a copy of your permit (my township still hasn’t sent me one)?

Yes, I think the Qmerit receipt should work. I just included the image of the cashed check from my online banking. (One might also consider adding details to the invoice oneself, if they're true and if one has that kind of moral flexibility...) I uploaded the permit, although I was a little worried because, due to work hours and holidays, my installation happened while the permit was "approved, ready for pickup" and the actual permit issue date was after my invoice date. They certainly care about the inspection sticker - it has purple writing and lists the electrical subcode at the bottom. I just took a picture of it, but for some reason they told me I was missing that document from my application. I just re-uploaded the picture and it was fine. Anyway, despite there being a portal, I still needed to contact them through the website twice to make it through the process.

How long did it take PSE&G to approve the credit and the off-peak discount? I submitted everything on 2/2/2023 and still haven't heard from anything from them.

It's hard to say how long PSE&G took since I had to reupload the documents, but it took a few weeks. I still don't see any off-peak charging history, though my car's been at the dealer for the last two weeks.

btw I did get that check from ChargeUp about a week after they approved it.

PSE&G approved my application in approximately two weeks. I submitted half of the documentation in December and the remainder on 2/2/2023 (it took that long West Windsor to send me the permit). PSE&G requested a receipt I had forgotten to upload on 2/16/2023 and approved me for the rebate and EV off peak electricity rate the next day.

Still no off peak charging data since charging for the first time under the program last night.

For the ChargeUpNJ program it took 14 days to approve, 1.5 months from approval to mailing the check and 2 days for the check to arrive.

Oh, and BTW it looks like they applied the credit to my entire energy bill (electricity + gas), not just electricity.
