It's a holiday miracle! Congrats! I know you've been waiting quite some time.
Thanks. Someday some lucky buyer will be able to have our orders that will be canceled soon: 2022 Moonstone Gray Pro S RWD (ETA January) or the 2023 Arctic Blue Pro S Plus RWD (ETA unknown, at code "05").

Same here. We put in for 2 Pro S Opal White one RWD and one AWD. Thankfully all the ‘23 colors are really nice so you can’t go wrong! Enjoy!

Dealer wasn't done prepping the car tonight so I will pick it up tomorrow.

Then the next day will be a 100 mile trip across rural Northern Illinois in a blizzard to an old farmhouse with only 120V outlets outside and the coldest temps of the year. What's the opposite of baptism in fire?

I own a '21, and have a '23 on order still in the 05/Order Generated state ... no chance for it to arrive in 2022 to take the tax credit this year. Called the dlr today and, lucky enough, they had a '23 cancelation arriving any day now and I took over the sale. So much for supposed "wait lists" on cancelations, I think the one who calls at the right moment actually gets the car! :)

That was my experience, too. Called and reserved one over the phone.

Picked up the red '23 Pro S tonight in the cold and dark. I didn't get as much on my 2017 CRV trade-in as I'd like but I also went to the Honda dealer to get an appraisal and they didn't offer enough more to make a difference. I got it for MSRP.

Installed the Yurik rear licence holder. The screws to hold it to the car were very tight and difficult to get through the recessed mounting hole. Otherwise it's a great system and the salesman eas asking where I found it.

Illinois doesn't have EV specific plates any more which is fine by me. I live in a rural area and want to avoid any EV hate.

I made it home in one piece and figured out enough to get heat, radio, and cruise control.

Looks like I may hold off on the trip to Iowa. It's about 100 miles. 0F temps, possible 50 mph headwinds, L1 charging at the destination and no viable options for fast charging. 48 hrs to charge in 0F at 1.5 Kwh, optimistically. That sounds iffy.

Both the Juicebox 40A and my Maxgreen portable EVSE are working. Yay!

Got the car mostly set up and tore my hair out for a while trying to get the home link garage door opener set up. Eventually I remembered that I had to use the handheld remote to program the mirror remote control, and then I followed those instructions on this site and all was good.

Mine has the Pirelli tires. The 600 plus dollars of add-ons which included a roadside emergency kit, first aid kit and some blocks to prevent stuff from moving around in the trunk looked like about $50 worth of stuff.

Just got an email saying my 2023 ID4 S is being assembled. Anyone know how long it takes to assemble the car?
If it just started, you should expect about 7-10 days to finish. After that, it is all up to the rail or trucking and I don't know about that.
There could be a delay between when it started production and they sent the email, and that would mean you get it sooner.

What color did you order? Seems like the black, grey and red of the S trim is going first.
