Blue here as well, but no email....
We did the same thing and found a dealer that had a 2023 AWD Pro S built and the vehicle is in quality check at the port in Chattanooga. Our factory order is stuck on 05 order generated since Sept. 2022.I own a '21, and have a '23 on order still in the 05/Order Generated state ... no chance for it to arrive in 2022 to take the tax credit this year. Called the dlr today and, lucky enough, they had a '23 cancelation arriving any day now and I took over the sale. So much for supposed "wait lists" on cancelations, I think the one who calls at the right moment actually gets the car!

My factory order is also stuck at 05 - order generated. My dealer has a 2023 RWD Pro that was built in December (no $1500 price increase), so I am going to buy it. It's black -- not ideal in the southeast -- but the price/availability and $7500 tax credit made it tough to pass up.

Are you talking about the S trim or the Pro S trim? I see Pro S trims in blue being produced, but not in the S trim.
My '23 tourmaline blue awd pro s got pushed back from January to June to May to July.
so did mine : /
Not that this is a race or anything, but with my third identical email my T.Blue AWD Pro eased ahead from December - February to February-March.
Theories abound; fathomable logic, not so much.
We did some thing similar yesterday got a car from the dealer because VW just pushed our Pro S Plus AWD to June of this year. That put us over the edge so we took a 2022 Pro S RWD in black. Has plenty of what we need, saved 14,500 between the price differential and the tax rebate and the government put a hold on the restrictions for leasing so we went ahead and leased.
The big mistake we made was ordering the plus. After really looking at it we only needed the Pro S.
Sorry about this. Makes no sense since you ordered a Pro S. I would find one at a dealer.

Canceled my ID4 silver Pro S. Took delivery MY today.

How did you get notified? We all got those emails 3 days in a row saying it's being assembled but I was told by VW it was a mistake and no movement has happened since I got those emails back on Jan 25, 26 and 27. Did you just get an email recently?
Yes on Saturday. My dealer told me a week ago that he had a vin number and that the build week was the 12th week. That would put it the week of March 21st.

Today my status changed from 35-1 to 40 so I guess this time it’s truly coming once it gets loaded on truck. 4 S RWD grey galaxy
