Pretty good review. Missing comparison with the Ionic 5, which except for the Model Y is now a bigger competitor than the Mach E.

The ID.4 is a darn good vehicle with some quirks like two window switches and comparatively, drum rear brakes and no TPMS sensors. Many buyers accept it for what it is and are happy.

The worst thing about an ID.4 is that it’s a Volkswagen, replete with software bugs, hardware failures and recalls, and limited skilled service hobbled by parts availability delays.

The best thing about an ID.4 is that it’s a Volkswagen, with experience with routine buybacks of problematic vehicles, usually successful if an owner follows the procedures.

Just for you @Moe
Thanks, @Huey52. Great review and I enjoyed it. From what I read, the N is killing it on the track, especially with its cooling, a weak point of the Tesla Model 3 Performance. I don’t think the Mach E GT Performance Package will compete except maybe in a straight line. Then again, maybe not. Perhaps that’s why Ford avoided direct competition with the Rally. It’s good to see EV muscle cars.
