I was going to post this yesterday! Tempting to get just the wheels and find tires stateside, but there really aren't many combinations in any of the ID.4 staggered sizes available unless you want to pay $400+ each for Michelins. Maybe the price on these will get into the $1xxx range in the next year or two.

That is absurd! But then I never have understood why folks want to replace perfectly good wheels with expensive wheels. I think my FE ID4 wheels look great!
The 20's are awesome. But it doesn't get better than the Narviks on the ID.4 - style-wise!

imho there is always a point where the size of a wheel goes from looking just right to borderline cartoonish.

In my prior Audi TTS I insisted on 19" wheels as the 20" looked far too Tron-esque to me (on an already very Tron-car). And of course only rubber band tire sidewalls at that 20" profile.

I had thought 20" was going to be too large on the ID.4 so initially ordered Pro S non-Gradient principally for 19" wheels. But after seeing the 20" photo's online and then a dealership 'look but don't touch' late last year I was sold on 20" as the style/performance sweet spot and therefore opted for the FE 2nd chance in January. Very subjective consideration of course.

I generally go with smaller wheels when I can but I just couldn't pass up the FE when it came available.

For long trips warriors who are after best efficiency that works with front bumper air design to flows air through the corners and over the 19 inches front wheel will gain 15+ miles per charge vs other wheel that is suitable for people who are after look and no matter what having bigger is looking better.
19 inches where designed with aerodynamic design in mind and to work with mentioned above....And that is one of reasons for staggered setup....
This type of threads will be coming from ID4 users..and there will be definitely differences.
If you are after look and very good aerodynamic wheel look at something similar to this and save your money buying VW option

I believe the 18 in. with 235/60-18 or 235/65-18 wheels will be the ultimate setup for maximizing the EV range. They will be lighter vs the 19", 20" or 21" wheels+tire combos. The tires are taller and have a smaller frontal area which will reduce the drag of the tires.

Although finding 18 in. aero wheels will be a challenge. OZ has the Superturismo AERO-e wheels but only comes in 19" or 20" for now. Hopefully, the 18" size will be available later. Or the Superturismo AERO which is available in 18". This for sure will reduce the overall Cd of the vehicle and therefore more range.

I may get a set of cheap touring tires in 235/60-18 next spring to test this out on my winter wheels.
That would be great. This will give us some data to compare efficiency vs the 19", 20" & 21" wheel+tire combos.
I can safely say that the 18" wheel+tire combos will weigh a lot less than the other 3 wheel+tire combos. And less front tires frontal area that will reduce the Cd.
