To get there we went up in elevation quite a bit, and the reverse to get home. Lots of back roads and hills and valleys and turns yeah. This is with my son driving - he is on a learner's permit and probably is easier on the m/kwh than I would be.

That is awesome. Thanks for sharing. I saw 310 on mine the other morning after a full charge. I am in Central KY. Driving 45-55 on relatively flat to rolling ground. These cars are off to a great start.

It sounds like very efficient regen on the way back. I can't wait to get our PRO and try it out. We have a Fiat 500E and I've got pretty good at getting the most out of its limited battery; the ID.4 will be a lot of fun.

Based on the two test drives I did, I couldn't agree more.
On the other hand, after 5 minutes of a test drive SWMBO liked B mode better and this was the first EV she has ever driven.

Same. My driving is 80/20 city/highway with cabin set at 68 and ambient temps averaging about 60. My range is solidly 270.

Naw, we topped off at a free level 2 public charger at our destination. Always play it safe. That section of NH is pretty sparse for public charging so you take your chance when you have it.

Right, we had a full charge estimated at 318 miles. But, we are using the recommended 80% charge level for general use, and only bump it up to the 100% before a longer trip.

Yeah, I read on a thread here earlier an EV specialist from VW quoted as saying the 80% recommended is for DCFC. L1 and L2 it's fine to go to 100%. So I just juice it to 100% once a week.
