Used to live in Charleston before we moved to Florida. I agree that the beaches in HHI are way better than the ones outside Savannah. Not to mention that you have to drive to the Savannah beach since the town is inland on the river.

Arguably better good in Savannah, and it’s certainly easier to get to than HHI. But HHI is much better for a beach trip.
