I got the notification that my vehicle left the factory on September 12. Any idea how long it takes to get here?
depending on your status, it may have left the factory but hasn't made it on a boat yet. you can see your status using developer tools in various browsers. 20-1 means production complete, doesn't necessarily mean that it made it on a boat. 20-2 seems to mean it is on a boat. For me, it took a little less than a month from getting my "leaving the factory" email until it landed at the dealer. I'm in NJ for whatever that is worth, it may take longer if you are in the south or on the west coast.

Nice compilation of codes here by @SunWizard will likely be helpful

Thanks for this. If I'm reading the output correctly on Chrome mime is at 20-1. Kinda sad as I got the leaving factory notification about a month ago and sold my 11 Tiguan Monday...
Hopefully you are pleasantly surprised as there seem to be slow/missing updates from various reports on this board. Some users have apparently received multiple updates at once. Maybe you are one of those people and it'll arrive sooner than currently expected. I received my notice around the beginning of September and have only had the car a week. If yours was ready in the same batch as mine, you should be getting it soon but our general logic doesn't always seem to align with how VW works.

Good Luck!

The Firefox instruction are pretty close...

I had to right click and choose inspect inside the page.

I then had to choose the network tab in the page inspection, make sure it was recording then refresh.

From there I searched for Get Reservations, clicked the result then scrolled right until I found it.

I know these aren't the best of instructions but I'm at work and typing this on my phone. Hope it gives you enough info to try... Or just download Firefox and use the instructions in the thread that was referenced with the codes.

I hope so. My dealer told me between today and 11/23 when I called today... I do have a car to drive but I'm feeling a little weird without one that's b mine... I also only have 60 days before local DMV will start leveling fines on me unless I turn in the plates.

How do read this on chrome?
Click the three dots in then upper left right hand corner of the browser, more tools -> developer tools
Select the network tab in the developer tools window
Refresh the page
In the filter box type "api"
select the 3rd graphql row (should be third, may be different) (Make sure "preview" tab is selected)
expand the fields on the right by clicking the arrows.
keep expanding until you see the "orderStatusCode" field

Jimspb - just curious what the date was in the email you received saying it's left the factory?

I gor mine 8/28...

I got my "leaving the factory" email on 9/3. My code went from 20-1 to 20-2 on 9/24. My dealer told me it arrive in the port in Jacksonville, FL on 10/7, but the status still shows 20-2 as of 10/13. The ETA given by my dealer is 10/18-28.

I ordered my ID4 in August and locked in early Sept. I just checked and status is 15-1. So still scheduled to be built. ETA according to the website is Nov-Dec. Like watching paint dry! Hoping to be surprised by early delivery.

I finally took delivery of my AWD ID4 on four days ago. I'm absolutely loving it!! Like others, my owner's portal remained stuck at "leaving the factory" (status 20-2) all the way up to the time that I picked it up at the dealer. Once it was loaded on the ship, the best source of information was actually calling the dealer.

In the end, I received the "leaving the factory" notice on 9/3, my dealer told me it arrived in Jacksonville, FL on 10/8, I was able to to pick it up on 10/18.
