I’m about to wire my dashcam. I want it to record even when I’m parked so I was planning to wire it to the fuse box but I’m having second thoughts. I really don’t want to be taking the A-pillar trim off and pulling on the headliner so I’m hoping someone can share the disassembly procedure for the overhead console.
The next step will be probing all the connectors up there for always-on 12V. If anyone happens to know of any modules up there that stay powered even when the car goes into deep sleep, please share. I’m not sure there will be anything still powered up but it’s worth a shot.
