There is an empty menu item when pressing gear icon.

Is this suppose to do something?

Or just another programming mistake like the PSI unit settings when we have no way of telling tire pressue.

Would like to know what this empty menu does?

We don't have ours yet but during the test drive and walkthrough we needed to turn the car on with the button before some things could be changed.

You have to Enable Ambient Lighting before you can use it.

Not all ID.4's have that lighting capability however.

It's helpful if you include your model designation in your Account Details or Signature block.

btw: the vehicle will tell you if you need to "start" the car for a particular setting change vs. just sitting down (the latter is more like ICE ACC).

The gear icon is some kind of mistake by VW.

I remember I had a truck about 15 years ago with blank knockouts in dashboard for future accessory switches.

I think VW took this approach with the screens and just left some blank menus and leftover PSI settings.
