I have an Android phone and the Android Auto looks great in the ID.4. Apps appear auto-magically, nav works fine. No real complaints.

My wife has an iPhone and the Car Play showed just three apps on the left nav. Apple Maps, Apple Music and iMessages.

Are we doing something wrong with Car Play? It seems more apps should come onto the cars display.

At the left bottom of the Apple CarPlay screen is an array of small boxes, press that area and voila the Apple apps appear 😁.

You can also customize CarPlay settings on the iPhone by going to Settings>General>CarPlay>My VW XXXX>Customize
