We are soon going to take a trip from Arizona to Texas on I 10. Has anyone taken this trip and if so are the EA chargers working well. With a long trip like this we can not have their failures and only charging at 34kw.

Came through I10/I20 August 13-14 and charged in Benson, Lordsburg, Deming, El Paso, and Van Horn. Then I20 and charged at Pecos, Midland, Sweetwater, and Eastland. I left reviews on Plugshare, no reviews on some of those stations after I went through. Most were problem free, had a few where I had to change ports or chargers but never had to call EA for a reboot. When I connected I got good speeds.

We did a round trip DFW to northern California and back, about 4,000 miles total. Had a few hiccups but no show stoppers. While charging I would check the EA and Plugshare apps for our next stop to get an idea of which chargers were available and any reported issues.

Have fun! We treated it as an adventure, and my wife likes to say we lived to tell about it.

I did I-10 from San Antonio through to CA last week, and hit every EA stop on your route. I was relieved to find them all in service, with only individual chargers down.

Thank you all for your comments. We have been on several 300 mile trips with the EV, this will be our first 950 mile trip.
