When attempting to accelerate, after a stop light had turned green, I got a message on the cockpit display which read "All Wheel Drive is limited. Please modify your driving style."

Acceleration was very sluggish for 5 or so seconds before the vehicle responded.

I've searched the owner's manual but have been unable to find any reference to such a message.

A call to Customer Care encountered excessive hold times and the earliest available time to schedule a call back was 2 days from today.

Has anyone experienced such a message?

The SOC was 62%. Temp in the low 80s and I had only driven 22 miles so I don't think heat was an issue. I may eventually have to contact a dealer if I can't get an explanation of the alert message from VW Customer Care. The message disappeared as soon as the car began to respond normally.
