Hi there -

Just bought an ID.4 recently and am interested in getting some rubber floor mats. I know WeatherTech makes some that are custom designed for the ID.4, but I don't care about perfection and would prefer something much less expensive. Was wondering if folks have found a less expensive (or general) option that they think fits quite well.

Thanks!

I tried looking at "u trim to fit" kits and non of them looked to fit. the weathertech trunk liner i bought isn't that good IMO. for my front and rear floors I got the ID 4 badged rubber mats from vw dealer. at least I know they are custom fitted for ID4 interior floor. the best price i found was using google search on "vw id 4 floor mats" then click on the Shopping link. you should see vw dealer prices and they will ship for around 15 bucks. but be careful as some dealers will charge some bogus handling fee. I was able to get a set of Monster Mats for $87 shipping included. good luck.

I've used WeatherTech in my family's last 5 cars. Expensive yes, but the fit and protection are worth it.

I have the OEM ones that cost over $300 (canadian $) at the dealer - and trust me....it's not worth it...the back pieces are built like ICE cars where they assumed the tunnel was going to be there so it's just for the left & right side passengers only - exposed center (blah)...and after 2.5 months - on the driver side "flap" where the dead pedal meets/joins the mat - is starting to flip up already... totally not impressed - thank goodness the dealer gave me a "deal" on it, however, I am seriously looking at the weathertech's as I got kids who walk left to right in the back and would really want the center covered.

They may not be cheap, but I recommend you take a look at the muddy buddy floor liners… they cover the whole back seat floor, and come up super high in the fronts for when you’re really dirty :)

I'm a huge fan of these TOUGHPRO mats on Amazon. I have the full set and they fit really well in the ID.4. The only catch is that if you want the cargo mat and have the rails on the sides for the removable cargo floor, you'll have to take them out. Unfortunately, there isn't any trim where the bars were but I do feel like you have more usable area without the bars. It was really easy to get the bars out and I imagine it would be fairly easy to get them back in as well. Obviously if you just want the front and back floor mats, no changes necessary!

Thanks for the feedback on these, can you take pictures of the cargo area?

I bought some LASFIT mats on eBay for $115. They are laser fitted, have the snaps for the driver/passenger side and look OEM. Super good liners in general.
