I have a Pro S with no tow hitch and really want to have bike mount (for two) installed.
Not knowing anything about tow hitches for CUVs, I was wondering if anyone can advise me on a cost efficient solution for a simple bike mount for two bikes.
For my previous Sedan, we have bought an inexpensive mount which was very easy to install. I really didn't care about the paint on the sedan too much back then, but really don't want to make any damages or scratches to the body of my new ID4.

You could put the bikes on the roof. If you do that, I'd suggest the carriers that hold the bike with wheels on. I've dinged the roof of cars with carriers that hold bikes by the fork.

The trunk mounted racks (Saris Bones et al.) typically have straps that hook onto the top of the trunk lid/hatch. When I went to mount one a couple of years ago, I found that the installation instructions warned against routing the straps over a spoiler, so I couldn’t use it.

The structure on the back of the ID.4 seems sturdier than a typical bolt-on spoiler, so it might be ok, and there might be some rack models that have worked around this issue - just make sure to check before committing.

I have a pro and am trying to figure this out as well. Roof racking is too expensive for three bikes! Almost a thousand dollars! Did you come up with any ideas? I saw in another post someone used a trunk rack and ran the load straps over the spoiler with no ill effects. But they had a hitch to attach the straps to on the bottom. The Pro does not even have a centered tow ring!

I mount my simple and trusty Hollywood F1B rack just fine, spoiler be damned. I’ve done the same for 13 years over the weaker spoiler of my Honda Fit. See this thread:

Thanks I saw and replied! But you have a hitch at the bottom. Our Pro does not. Not even a centered tow loop like our old Honda Civic Hybrid to attach the rack to. So I need to put either an aftermarket hitch or tow loop or something down there, unless there is some trick I am missing.

I have a Saris Bones EX which is a trunk mount that fits on our old Toyota Hatchback... looking at the saris website it doesn't show that this is compatible with the ID4 (ours being on a ship right now, so we'll see) but I am not 100% sure why it wouldn't work.
Now I don't think my partner is going to be keen on experimenting once we have it at home, but I still might give it a test without load just to see what happens (as long as I am comfortable with straps over the spoiler but we'll have to wait and see on that one)

Small correction: it is the square bracket at the end of the receptacle that is crooked. The pipe is not. But because it’s welded on crooked I worry the tray will not fit. I need to order e tray to see if it does.
You sir, are most patient. I'm so OCD that crooked hitch would be driving me up a wall! I'd shoot some photos to DrawTite - they may even send you a new one without returning the old one, then just replace it at your leisure.

Yeah, I'd be reaching out to Drawtite. I have one that I'll be installing in the next few days, hopefully mine's not the same. I wonder if it got bent during shipping. My box has a big hole in it where the receiver mount has worn thru the corrugated. I hope mine fits!

Ok email sent!
Mine was definitely not bent during shipping. It’s just whoever welded the rounded square frame part onto the receiver was sloppy. It is clearly welded at about a 5 degree angle.
I need to actually figure out what tray I want to use and order it to see if it actually fits- the crooked weld obscures about 1mm of the receptacle opening.

And does the tray now hit the car because of said 5 degree angle? I wouldn't think so but it depends on how close the tray is built to the car. Good luck!
