I think in his review of the ID.4's adaptive headlights he actually commented that they turned quite a bit when cornering, and I think the had a similar comment about the ID.3's adaptive headlights.

Bjorn just put out a video of him driving the ID.4 with basic LED headlights.
The Pro and Pro AWD will be a little different since they will have auto high beam.
Maybe it is different on the ID.4 FE/Pro S models but my e-Golf has LED adaptive lights and the lights only turn on slow sharp turns. So some of the why the adapter lights are better may be over stated.
