Bluetooth to phone connection

I connected my Android Auto to my ID4. But now I can not use my phone through Bluetooth without it wanting to use Android Auto. Unlike so many folks, I really do not use Android Auto. I tried to remove it but it will not go away. I can remove it from my phone, but the ID4 still wants to use it. I have been really happy in my other cars with my phone working through Bluetooth. Any suggestions? Thanks

I have removed AA from both my phone and the car. Then I repaired my phone to the car. It shows the Bluetooth working and all my phone message show on the car screen, but it will not load my contacts or make or receive a call through the car system. My last three cars di not have this issue. I am stumped. Going to try another phone.

Tried two other phones and both had the same issue. The ID4 imports texts and phone calls made but will not import contacts. I have checked off the box to allow contacts to be shared.

Dumb me, when looking for contacts I had the wrong tab chosen. Had favorites and not all tab. Working fine now.
