We have an automatic car wash with 2 belts that moves the car with no tires rolling. My car seems like it's trying to take off on the belt while in neutral. I'm not sure if it's because the car is moving and the tires aren't. After about 2-3 feet on the belt it settles. But at first it feels like it wants to drive on the belt. Anyone else having this happen to them?

Thank you

Personally, I avoid Automatic Car washes like they are the Plague. Really they are terrible for your car, all that dirt trapped in the brushes and the chemicals the commercial car washes are really NOT GOOD for your car. I wash my car at home in my driveway, using high quality "Car Wash" and leather Chamois. I also use a High Quality Polymer Polish.

Thanks, but I don't keep my cars long enough to worry about those things. Driving for a living doesn't give me the time to wash my car at home 3-4 times a week.

There are stations that you can use power wash and do it by yourself...what other person posted is what will be your responsibility if you lease and have a lot of scratches at the end of the lease. Or if your lifestyle is getting more money working than doing it yourself. Then just pay someone who will come and pick your car and do detailed job and wash.I do this and so far have no regrets paying someone.
Good luck.
