That's a bummer, seems like Canada isn't enough to worry about for VW's public relations, we are just too small of a country. I reached out to my dealer in Kamloops BC and he said the info he gets is when the car gets allocated to build then he lets me know what date that is. I reserved Dec. 2121.

My dealer in B.C. says when vehicle gets allocated then he knows what the build date is, I even reached out to ask VW customer care if car could be built in TN and the lovely lady said she knows nothing also and that go through your dealer, then I asked her do you know who Herbert Diess is? She said no 🙄 All I can say is WOW!!!! Reserved in Dec. 2021

Sad thing is I talked to actual human, VW communication is by far ridiculous, if it wasn't so messed up with all manufacturers with supply chain issues, I wouldn't even bother giving VW my money.

I just got an email also from Volkswagen saying my order is in their queue and that Chattanooga is now live and should be getting more orders fulfilled. This is the first ever response that I've got since I reserved December of 2021.

My dealer in Kamloops I reached out yesterday cuz I got that same email, that my car is in queue for production, salesman says he has no idea he thinks end of the year. They must be frustrated also.

I have the same feelings, I would not recommend VW to my friends, to be willing to hand over $62,000 and be treated with such horrible communication I can't imagine what it would be like if you have problems with car.

Okay I just got confirmation from my dealer in Kamloops BC he said it will definitely be coming from Chattanooga now and I reserved in December 2021.

I still think there's problems there because there's none around my town anymore there's been a huge recall.

He told me dealers are starting to get instructions from VW to convert orders over and that Oct. 1 is when Canadian orders will get allocated. He said they have only received 2 ID 4 orders for customers and from now on they are coming from Chattanooga. I haven't asked about pricing, just going to see how it roles.

Hello fellow Canadian orders!
Just texted my salesman from Kamloops BC and I was confirming he got my build that converted to 23' and I asked him what he thinks car will be delivered and he now says late spring or summer!!! Ordered in Dec.2021, I am soooo frustrated, I'm now even considering an emustang, they have one on the lot in Kelowna for 54,000 plus tax and fees. I would buy it just in spite though. Sorry to be a Debbie downer but in think Canada does not rate at all for customers.

I think you might have a better chance of just ordering a new one in the volksclick opens up, the old orders are Lost in space.

I'm out also, what a joke! Second largest car manufacturer in the world not for long. I understand we are in unprecedented times but they should have stopped taking orders a long time ago. Or maybe finally Mr. Deiss fallout is showing up now.

So true everyone! I'm now thinking out of the box, maybe try a Kona electric and Bolt EUV just to be ready if I need to change. I'm at the point now I don't mind down grading a bit because of the sour taste left in my mouth from VW, maybe VW stands for Very Worthless.
