Wow ok. Do you mind sharing which dealer? I'm also in Vancouver and want to see if this is a pattern at one particular dealerVancouver
I don't think it could affect it any worse than it already is. There are no cars on the lot (in BC) like there are on American lots. It's still a long wait for any trim. If you want a top trim with everything, like me, your wait is extra extra long.Interesting change down in the US, wonder if this means prices for these models will creep up there. I can only imagine if that were to happen it’s gonna make the Canadian market more complicated, unfortunately.

Treasury decides Model Y, Lyriq, ID.4, are SUVs after all, not sedans
Now it will use the consumer EPA standard and not CAFE to decide.arstechnica.com
I am in the same boat.edit: heat pump issue was the deal breaker for me.
Polestar 2 is cramped. Camry-sized car with a corolla-sized interior. The rear floor jump is massive. Two small adults up front (centre console is unforgivingly large) and two small children in back. Anything larger or more and forget it. I would have bought one if wasn't for lack of interior space. I did put a deposit on a Polestar 3 beavise something tells me that I'll be not getting the ID4 I actually reserved.well Polestar 2 just got a bunch of upgrades. Motors, more standard features, more power, more range. RWD now. Polestar 2 brings more power, performance and range
Also the polestar 4 is going to be available this yr.

Polestar 4: Tesla Model Y challenger hits the market this year
The Polestar 4 will be the company's fourth and potentially one of its best-selling models worldwide. Know all about the Tesla Model Y rival here.topelectricsuv.com
"We will launch the car (Polestar 4), and I’m not talking about just going to present the design of the car. That will be the start of the launch that includes of course as well the industrial milestones that we will hit along the line in 2023."
Polestar CEO Thomas Ingenlath at the Polestar Q3 2022 results conference call on
This might be the sleeper hit if they don't overprice it. Tesla has put a lot of pressure on everybody now. Also the production Honda Prologue will be shown soon. Deliveries of the Honda will be Q1 2024.
I also got a call from a Nissan dealer about the Ariya. I didn't have a chance to get back to them so I'm just guessing that the Ariya test cars are just about to arrive.
Well, a C40... 😏
80% of 320 is what I'm thinking. Plus then add on winter conditions etc.....Range is about the same, maybe slightly better for the C40 down to aerodynamics. My thinking was, that's still 320 or so km better than imaginary nonexistent range on a car that doesn't exist. 🤷🏻♂️ I just wasn't willing to keep waiting until whenever for predictions about supply chain disruptions improving that may never come true. Three years ago, "they" all said covid would be over in a few weeks.
(Also, I'm in a Volvo C30 right now, so for me it just seemed like a message from the universe that it became available.)
By trade, I'm a certified HVAC technician. I'll go heat pump, you do you. What's the big fuss about no heat pump in the id4, yet people are ok with a different vehicle with a lower range with heat pump? I'm in Vancouver, it's not that cold here anyway. All the American id4s don't have the heat pump and many parts of the US are far colder than Vancouver.
HELLLZZZZZ no.......Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV
I'd have to fully agree here. Its a great opportunity for GM, but I see a fumble as well.I’d like to think that the Equinox and Blazer are going to properly ramp up but I suspect that will turn into a shitshow as well. If they did they’d be interesting options.
The 2023 Outlander has gotten some great reviews.

This is one way to look at it, yes.in Canada because of our awful charging network, I’d say PHEVs are a very smart move. No pain in the ass 45-1hr charging sessions on longer trips.
A parent at my kid's school has one. Was talking to him and he said he loves his bz4x so far of 3 mths ownership.Oh so you've been test driving the Toyota bZ4X?
Subaru dealer in North (Vancouver) Shore automall has 3 on their lot. All were cancelations. This is as of 230pm Pacific time. Not sure of markups or details as I was driving through and popped in; only that "they are for sale"I really wanted to test drive the solterra since I'm partial to subarus, but yeah...delivery times as they are and its range makes it a tough sell for us. Maybe when it hits its 2nd gen.
3.3L. Its on Mazda.caThey didn't announce official fuel consumption
GM announced these vehicles in FOMO. Like VW, the bulk of these will be for US market and Canadians, once again, are going to take it up the tail pipe.Quite awhile ago I called a GM dealer to find out about Blazer and Equinox BEV delivery times and they told me 2 yrs.... seriously? What's the point?
I, too, wondered about this. I don't think there is a way to track without that browser extension our American pals use. And it most likely not for Canadian orders.Folks any idea to track a car with VIN ? Like whether it crossed Canada customs or not etc. trying to track the VIN my dealer gave. According to him car manufactured in November but no updates after that.
