I'm comfortable with how my breakdown will be. Only extra I was planning to get was the muddy buddy trunk Liner. I ordered a few 3D printed items and 3DMaxpider mats. It's even scheduled to get a full front end PPF on the day of pickup

The maintenance package is tempting especially as you've described @stephen.kormilo due to warranty coverage, but @Perry Rhodan I do agree that the maintenance on this vehicle is significantly different than my Audi lol.

The warranty is what I'm curious about, with regards to whether it can be extended at a later date.

Speculation, they may want to do a production run of Canadian vehicles towards the end of MY23 production.

So funny, end of MY23 production will be around July-August,They assume that this market will be available for them forever with 10k backlogs ?
Obsolutely no, people start looking for alternatives and the others manufacturers will start saturating the market with their production.

Just a heads up, Capilano VW in North Van told me about a week ago that all and any waitlists have been amalgamated into one giant list for VWoC. I asked for explanation and was given this scenario.

Example:

-Person 1 new orders a MY23 Sept 1st
-Person 2 get their MY22 converted to MY23 Sept 4th

Person 2 is treated like a new MY23 order and goes after Person 1.

Supposedly this happened about a week ago

Seems the story keeps changing, the unfulfilled orders for MY21 and MY22 were to converted, in September, before opening up for new reservations in October. Some of the dealerships were taking unofficial reservations before the official on line reservation process opened up, and may have entered them into the system before they should have.

Some dealerships seems to doing better expectation management than others and VW communications is lacking.

When I submitted my reservation , in October, VW was indicating 6+ months for delivery and my dealer was saying 12 to 14 months . Now VW is saying for new orders expect to get a MY24.

Hopefully, once the factory is running at full speed there may be capacity to start fulfilling Canadian orders.

You talking to me? I know nobody knows what delivery times are. That's why I'm pointing out that Feb2023 is bogus.

For the video, I watched it. It was an ok video. Would recommend.
