Tried calling Car-Net. Was on hold for ever. Finally was told that an IT team would look into it and get back with me in about FIVE days. We will see! This happened to me Friday prior to Labor Day. I called them Tuesday, they opened a trouble ticket, and it was working by Thursday.

I didn't have to perfom any log-outs or resets on my end.
I talked to somebody pretty quickly, but she made a bug fuss about it being an ID.4, wasn't sure because "it's different." Five to ten day quote, but back online in two.
Is it still the issue that you can’t login online, or is it only the car refusing to talk to carnet?Over a week now and still waiting in my case. Going to call them again tomorrow.
First time was only 48 hours however.
ThOn a trip out of state the Car-Net stopped working. The app boots up but I can not doing anything. It has a screen update of THREE days ago! I have removed the app and reinstalled, but nothing changed. Have sent email to Car-Net with NO reply. View attachment 5666
That happened to me about 2-3 weeks ago. I called them and the woman said she would escalate the issue and someone would call me within a week. It was fixed by the next day but I’m not sure they ever called. I didn’t care as long as they fixed it.On a trip out of state the Car-Net stopped working. Curious: What is "STANDBY"?Is it still the issue that you can’t login online, or is it only the car refusing to talk to carnet?
If it is the latter, just grab the fuse puller from under the hood and with the car in standby, pull fuse 19 in the cabin, and push it back in 10 seconds later.
only then sit in the car and after a minute more, start it up. That should fully reset the connection to the internet, as well as refresh the connection to VW’s backend from scratch.
I had to do this once, when I received my car and it has been fine ever since.
Not sitting in the seat, nor foot on the brake,Curious: What is "STANDBY"?
Hmm, As if one of your devices is hammering the old password into the web backend. Maybe remove every trace to carnet on every device you can find and then reset it via the lost password option (after 24 hours or so)In my case I can’t login online from any device. It says I’ve entered my password too many times and to wait awhile, But I’ve made sure to wait 24 hours between each attempt.
But thanks for the fuse suggestion.

New account might also be an option?

I have pulled fuse 19 (fifth from the top, second row) and followed your directions. But nothing has changed. BUT, what is the fuse just above it with a yellow tab attached to the fuse?Curious: What is "STANDBY"?
I have tried what you suggested without any success. By the manual fuse 19 is in the second row of fuses just below the fuse that should never be removed. But anyway I pulled that fuse and it did not change anything. So pulled the 5 amp fuse in row one right beside the do not pull fuse and that did nothing either. What I have on my phone screen is a battery level showing "updated 9/14/21. below that it shows 53% full. Then below that Est Range 146 miles. Plugged in Then a large blue screen showing 25 hr 10 min that takes up almost half the screen. I can not use the AC on/off function. Since 9-14-21 the car has been charged several times but Car-Net has not shown that since 9-14-21. You are correct, one should never pull a fuse without knowing what they re doing.Fuse 19 is a 5 amp fuse. The row next to it has a 20 amp fuse with a label on it. Pulling it will shutdown the high voltage system and as far as I understood from @VW TECHNICIAN , it will need shop maintenance after that, so DON’T pull out that one. It’s only for the fire brigade to secure the vehicle after an accident.
What exactly is your issue with Carnet?
That is exactly what I did. And fuse 19 is in the fifth slot down, but it is in the second row. I have already contacted Car-Net and they told me they are putting an IT person on my issue and will get back with me sometime. By the way, how did you know what fuse 19 controlled. In the manual there is no circuit shown for fuse 19.If you make a picture of the fuse box and zoom in, you can see tiny numbers on each fuse position. Out of the top of my head fuse 19 was the fifth position from the top (not all are filled with fuses), 3rd row from the left, but please check this yourself.
If cycling the fuse doesn’t help, the issue would be something different. So in that case I’d definitely give carnet a call and see if they can open a case for you.
