Today's simple Kreg build. It's 36" x 40" and will therefore easily slide into the back of the ID.4. I kept to that size mostly for that reason but also to keep its overall weight manageable. Stores nicely and won't get in the way of back doors opening too much. Will soon see action building a tree house with my son for his children/my grand's.

btw: the B&D Workmate is circa 1977. I finally got around to putting a new top on it a few years ago (modified 425 jaws) and also made another top with hold-downs.

So, what are others doing these days?

Not to deviate off topic too much...I have a B&D Workmate 425 as well, but circa early 1990's. That design has served B&D well given it's still sold today. Great little workbench too. The only thing that has recently given me problems were the plastic springs that hold in the legs. A couple of them snapped, but were easily replaced.
