1. Where is the microphone located?
2. What exactly do "auto high beams" do? I see it changes light pattern every now and then while I drive but I can't figure out what is triggering the change?
3. With an AWD Pro (base model)... If I click / hold the trunk open button on the keyfob... It does not open on its own. Is that normal?

Thanks for the help!

1 not sure
2 it's a supposed to detect ambient light and oncoming cars (presumably with camera) and only turn on high beams when they are needed and won't blind others. Driving in well-lit Los Angeles they aren't coming on for me. Haven't tested oncoming cars obviously. I've driven other cars with such systems and generally prefer to control high beams on my own oh, I can usually tell when a car is coming in a rural area well before the cars camera picks up on it.
3. Yes, that's how mine works

I believe there are 4 microphones, two facing down at the driver and front passenger, and two facing the rear seats, all located in the overhead console around the SOS button. I'm not sure that each of the four has a mic (one could be "reserved" for LH/RH drive cars), but it's a good bet because when I call in to the family driving in the car, I have good audio clarity of everybody, and no background noise.

Unlocking the trunk with the fob may not be a feature of the base model. My FE unlocks it from the fob if the car is locked or unlocked.
