In the US with our low pricing, I doubt it. Not sure what you pay in Canada, perhaps there's room for it.
If you check which models in Europe have DCC, the price is very significantly north of our top-end models.
AWD Pro in Canada is $50,000 + Gradient package is $8,000 (which includes all the extras like 20” wheels, glass pano roof, 12” screen, a heat pump, heated windshield… but no HUD, and no mention of DCC) = $58,000 + taxes.

$58,000 Can = $46,000 US

In Germany, ID4 GTX (AWD) is 50,000 Eruo = $59,000 US = $73,000 Can

Darn. Thats too bad. I guess the bean counters and number crunchers got together and figured what features would be attractive in each market, and how to minimize costs…

I’m curious, what would it cost to add DCC as an option? Or HUD? Or a better sound system?

What would be the first option on your upgrade list??

My 1st choice would be sound system.
Tie for 2nd place is DCC & HUD.

I'd think the sound system would be a gimme for the US market: slap a Fender or HK logo on the center speaker and a box under the seat, upcharge $1,500 easy -- palatable to many buyers and dealer-installed if needed.

Personally, I could see dropping a few grand on the HUD, except that with no Android Auto integration, it loses all of its appeal. This was exactly what turned me off to Audi's fantastic dashboard map display on their B9 allroad -- in fact, that decision alone is probably what redirected me to get into an EV (i3) instead.

Found this on DCC in GTX but not on AWD:

“…One variance: the U.S. does not get Dynamic Chassis Management (DCC), which pairs command of the electronically adjustable adaptive dampers with push mode. Ulbrich states the North American edition will be tuned to be as dynamic as its European counterpart, but the marketing and advertising emphasis will be on its all-wheel-travel abilities, extra so than on its overall performance.”

I’m curious, how will the North American AWD edition be as dynamic as it’s European counterpart re: DCC? I thought DCC and Passive Dampers work a bit differently. With DCC you can adjust dampers to be more rigid/sporty and the electronic DCC system calculates how much rigidity you need on the fly, while with Passive Dampers that option doesn’t exist.

DCC is not by default on the GTX either, it's part of the additional sports plus package.
The base GTX has an even lower trim as the US base pro model, and if you tick all the options, the car is above 65.000 euro (~USD 78.000).

Yes, I see in Germany you have to pay for upgrades to pano roof, pay for separate upgrade to 21” wheels, pay for separate upgrade for 12” infotainment screen, pay for separate upgrade for sport GTX seats… but I can’t see how much the charge for DCC is in Germany.

In UK, you can add DCC to Golf GTI for only 780 pounds ($1,080 US). This is good value. I would like to see an option like that in Canada/US.

In theory we could add the dynamic dampers after the fact (see link below) and the ID software obviously has the capability of controlling them. Not sure how you'd "turn it on" in the software though unless VW officially makes it a dealer-installed after purchase option.

question is if the wiring harness is there, and the control module (jup, yet another one)
Not sure - if not then obviously those would have to be added as well. Like I said - not necessarily easy. My guess is the module isn't there but perhaps the wiring harness is (especially if it's part of a larger harness). If the harness isn't there then a somewhat easy job becomes a lot more complicated.
