I want to tell you about my experience with Alexandria VW, and I haven't even picked up my car yet.
In March, I first contacted Alexandria VW after locking in my AWD Pro S and asked to schedule a test drive. When I showed up at the dealer for the test drive, no one had any clue about my appointment, but luckily, a FE was available to test drive. The EV specialist wasn't available, and I asked if they could call me when available. The only call I ever got was from a salesperson trying to talk me into buying a FE because it was AWD too, and it was just a difference in the interior color. I should have looked into switching dealers right then since they were utterly clueless about the ID.4
Anyway, I go back in for a second test drive so my spouse can test drive the ID.4 in August; at least this time, they seem to know about the appointment. Again the EV specialist isn't available, and they'll have him call me. No call.
So this past Saturday, I sent them a message that my ID.4 is at the port of Baltimore and that I do not want them to do anything to it besides the standard prep and no add-ons.....no response other than an automated reply acknowledging that I submitted something.
So on the 25th, I sent an email directly to the sales manager (Aziz Kettani), including what I sent via the "contact us" page. I also clarified that I didn't want them putting any dealer logo on my ID.4 aside from a license plate holder. Again no response other than an automated reply acknowledging that I submitted something.
If this is how they treat their customers before a sale, I can only imagine what it will be like after I purchase the car. I wished it wasn't too late to switch dealers.
