There are other posts about this. VW had a shipping/logistics issue and some vehicles were off loaded in the wrong port. They are now shuffling vehicles to try to fix their error.

Delivery Status went Backwards!
Finally went to step 5/7 "Arriving in the USA". Dealer verified the ProS arrived in Baltimore on 06 Apr. and will be in my hometown on or about 3 weeks later. On 22 Apr, Status went backwards to step 5 "Leaving the Factory"! Has anybody else had this issue and had any resolution? NOW don't believe any status, and almost ready to cancel from frustration with the bogus reporting.

I made a reservation on Dec. 6, 2020 for an AWD Pro S and switched to FE on Jan. 7th. I went to Step 5 last week of March and got a confirmation email from VOA last April 1st. About two weeks ago, I reached out to my dealer and requested for another test drive. They have been very accommodating with all my requests and checked on my vehicle ETA status. They checked and said it arrived in Maryland and could be In their dealership between May 6-12th. The other night, I received an email from VOA moving me to Step 6/Prepare for Purchase. The email contained options for lease or purchase but emphasized that it’s up to the dealer to determine final terms. For lease numbers given by VOA are $515/mo. + tax, licenses, etc. - 12000 miles/yr., 36 months, payment of about $1800 at the start of lease. It did not have any information on residual value. For the purchase option, it had 2.09 % interest for 60 months. Was asked at end of email to notify dealer of preference whether to buy or lease with VOA. I clicked the lease option to see what the dealer would come up with. Would like to see the final lease terms before we decide whether to lease or buy. Still undecided at this point. Never have we leased in the past but might do so this time. This our first EV and first Volkswagen.
Yesterday afternoon, I got a call from my dealer saying that my vehicle is arriving one week earlier. Said she’ll call again Tuesday or Friday. Yehey! We could be driving our FE this weekend.

I am in the same situation and got the same BS story. But I also realized that if we're not for this forum I might be blissfully ignorant. I was told to expect a May / June delivery. So I have to take the 22 days at step 5 with a grain of salt. What upsets me is the 6 emails I got telling me it was in the US, then giving me some BS story rather than telling us the truth. YES, VW you screwed up!
