Disconnect from CarPlay on iPhone connected to USB Port
If my wife decides to charge her iPhone using the either one of the two USB ports on the center console, CarPlay will automatically connect. We can't seem to figure out how to disconnect the auto connect feature or just disconnect from CarPlay. Any suggestions?

I just put the cable in the back seat console USB port for the front seat passenger to use. Works out great since the back seat USB ports are for charing only, no data.
Another option is something like this, which blocks data from flowing but allows charging/power through. I don't have the USB-C version, but I do have a USB-A version I've used in the past at public chargepoints such as in airports, and it gives some piece of mind at plugging into a random USB port. https://www.amazon.com/PortaPow-NA-USB-C-Data-Blocker/dp/B082WDHS22/
