Hi owners... just wondering if anyone who's an avid golfer can let me know if you can easily put in a golf bag with standard length driver, head covers, etc. into the trunk/hatch back length-wise? I did a test drive of a FE and it just looked so narrow compared to my current SUV. Wondering if you can just jog it into place? Wouldn't want to have to put down the rear seat just to haul my clubs and push cart... I'm used to just keeping the clubs in the back of my car during golf season!

Thanks in advance!

The rear seat cup holders have a second door you can put down for longer items that might not fit otherwise.

Yes, a standard size Golf Bag, with Driver, fits just fine. The side-side indentations do seem purposefully designed to accommodate, as a perfect fit. This is a retracting-stand bag, but a folding wheeled stand should be fine (used to have one so can approximate add'l width for the base fork).

btw: I used to have a Mazda RX-8 and it too had such indentations. Mazda actually cited they designed same for a standard golf bag so it is a consideration for many manufacturers. ;)

Note another example in a fav video (45 seconds in; Audi Yes, Benz not so much 🤪 ):

This is awesome Huey52 - greatly appreciate the picture. I figured this was the case, but knowing my sticks will fit is a big check mark for me!
