About to buy an ID.4 Pro S, probably black interior with brown dash, but possibly gray.

In the past I’ve had a few cars, Chevy Bolt in particular, where the dash is reflected quite badly in the windshield, causing the view of the road to not be very clear. This happens especially in bright sunlight. In the Bolt, the only time it doesn’t happen at all is at night.

So, for those of you who have a Pro S ID.4, is this an issue? Thanks!

I do get some reflections in the windshield in my ID.4 with the black dash and brown inserts, depending on the angle of the sun; I think it's kind of inevitable in any car. The reflection of the vent area in particular is very noticeable.

It doesn't really block my view but it would certainly be noticeable in photos etc. Certainly not as bad as it would be with the lighter-colored dash I think though.

By “lighter-colored dash” you mean the gray? I ask because I was t necessarily sure that would be lighter than the brown.
Would it be possible to upload a photo showing the effect?

Yes, the dash reflects in the windshield on my FE.

Yes, definite reflection on window glass. But a pair of polarizing sunglasses eliminates it completely.

I have grey top dashboard, sometimes reflection is quite severe. I had to buy sunglasses with polarization filter. Now I'm happy.

Definitely have a problem with the dash reflecting on the windshield. Polarizing sunglasses are a fix for that problem. I have thought about covering the dash with something, but haven't gone to the effort of doing so yet.

Looks like I’ll have to get polarized sunglasses. I’ve actually never owned a pair of sunglasses at all… I like natural night. For those recommending that route, does it eliminate the reflection 100%?
