What year and trim is your car?
I think many 2023 owners will dispute that opening during drive only occurs at high G forces below 9 mph as VW claims above
Sorry I am confused on this one. Can’t they stop/pause building new cars & give us the handles or am I missing something here.
I'm just spitballing here, but I would guess there's a gasket around the handles that needs to be replaced in a certain way. I'm just glad this has been taken seriously and they're working on a fix.

Following - I have it on my app, too
I noticed my issue with my drivers side door handle acts up more after rain and have been a little suspect of the seals around the car in general. So I guess this is why the parts for my repair haven't arrived at the dealer for install yet. I'm glad the recall means that I won't have to worry about the other door handles suffering the same fate now.

The question is whether I will have to wait for the full recall repair program for my repair to be completed? Or will my door eventually get repaired and then it has to go in again for the other doors to get the recall fix?
Unclear if it affects all doors, but after the fix I haven't had issues with other doors.
My issue was only with the front passenger door.
I never had the problem with any of the other doors.
I hope that if the other doors haven't experienced the problem yet that they do not have the issue, the recall does say "The affected vehicles may have", so it sounds like a bad batch rather than a design flaw.

I got mine in December. When did you buy your car.
Wish I could say I was surprised.

November 17th
Any details on which VINs are included in this recall? Crap VW Canada Carnet app is even more stripped down than US and don't show any info related with recall at all.
Wish I could say I was surprised.
I guess you've seen something on the line but can't be specific...

The rear doors would likely not be included since there is not an un-lock mechanism in the rear handles.
