Came across this thread and wanted to report that my front passenger door has started opening randomly while driving. It's happened 3 or 4 times in the past two days while driving sometimes over 40 mph. It's pretty scary because the door actually opens enough that you can hear the wind rushing by and the open door light on the dash goes on and the warning beep starts. Really annoying because you can't just reach over and close the door while driving...had to pull over and close the door each time. One note is that it's been raining pretty hard here in Southern California not sure if that has anything to do with it. Anyone have this resolved? FYI mine is a 2023 AWD.

Been about 2 weeks waiting on an update from the dealer. They say they'll have to replace my passenger side door handle as it has been opening spontaneously. Anyone in CA know if this will qualify for lemon law if my car is still in the shop for 30 days waiting on parts? Very tempted to get a lemon law refund and go buy a model y now that they're the same price as a 2023 id4 AWD....
