Please clarify. Do you mean “unlock” or actually open, I.e. unlatch where you can pull on the top of the door and swing it wide?

 

I press the fob and the door clicks as uf to open but when I lift the handle it's as ufvuts locked. All the other doors open though.

 

It sounds to me like a problem in the driver door lock that I’d take it to the dealer for.

Someone else here may have a better idea.

 

My ID7 has just had to have a new drivers door handle because the proximity sensor wasn't working. Faulty from the factory. . . . suggest it needs a new door handle unfortunately. . . .

 

Yes - the garage have looked at it today and have ordered a new door handle. They did show me how to open it another way lifting the handle on the right side quite hard.
