I thought it would be helpful to have a thread with information about individual EA charging locations. Any information about your charging experience at the location will be helpful. Info about restrooms or food available will also be appreciated. Pictures are also always appreciated. Please start your post with the city and state of the charger and please keep this thread on topic so it will be easier for members to find information. If you have questions about a particular post, DM the member for this info, and maybe suggest he or she edit his or her post to reflect this info.

Medford, NY. This charger is in a Sam’s Club parking lot, directly off the Long Island Expressway at exit 64. There are other stores within walking distance, such as Target, CVS and TJ Max. There are 4 Signet chargers at this location. There is a 24 hour gas station and a 7-11 within 1/2 of a mile away for snacks and restrooms after business hours. I have probably charged over 50 times at this location and all have gone well. I have never experienced this station being down. When I start charging at below 30% it always starts at 125 kW.

Queens, NY. JFK Airport. This station is in one of the cell phone lots, on the west side of JFK Airport. There are no services other than Port a Potties. I have never charged there, but I spoke to an ID.4 owner while he was charging and although he started below 20% SOC, the session started at 77kW. There are 10 chargers, and all are supposed to be 150 kW. This is a former EVolve NY station that has been converted to an EA station.

I recommend the PlugShare app. I post my reviews on it. That said the one in Pueblo Colorado was completely bricked last night. Fortunately it was only 35 minutes to Colorado Springs SAM’s Club. Number 4 started at 39 kW do I moved to 3. 3 started at 90kW when I had a state of charge of 23%, should have been 125 kW. No convenient place to eat within walking distance at either location.

Lake Grove, NY. This location is in the parking lot of the Smithhaven Mall. There are 3 CCS 150 kW chargers. My wife has charged here several times. She has always been able to successfully charge, but several times she had difficulty starting the charge, and had to call or change chargers. The mall has many food choices and restrooms. After business hours, there are 24 hour gas stations within a mile radius.

Florida Mall - 6 charging stalls, never had an issue there. I always use this location on my “staycations” and trips to Orlando International Airport. Always have been able to charge at appropriate (near) charging rate for the given SOC.

The Walk at Highland Preserve, Tampa, FL - Used to charge here before I got over range anxiety and got used to the fact that I can do a round trip to Tampa, St. Pete, and surrounding area with no problems. Good top off spot nonetheless. Always have gotten the speeds expected at the appropriate SOC. 8 charging cabinets here.

Number 6 is the only one there that I have been able to get 125 kw.

Flagler Colorado on I 70. Could not initiate by app. Tried calling EA support, “ this is Verizon, the number that you called is incorrect or has been changed”. Finally had to resort to a physical credit card and actually pay. The dinner is closed. Avoid this dirty dusty, scamming, pustule like the plague.

10 total pedestals, 1 Chadmo, 4 350kW, rest 150kW, very dependable. Far west corner of Walmart parking lot.

Colby Kansas a 350 kW charger is charging at 54 kW . Starting point 73 miles of range remaining. At an older Walmart on a frontage road. You won’t find it without nav.

"Coming Soon" Potomac, Maryland. EA charging in the Bank of America parking lot on the corner of Falls Rd and River RD. I will update this post with pictures as soon as the EA station is up and running. As of today, October 11 2021, there is no sign of construction or equipment, however, EA has it on their app.

Hauppauge, NY. I took this picture on July 28, 2021, but the station is still listed as "coming soon" as I post this on October 12. This station is on the north (westbound) service road of the Long Island Expressway at exit 55. There are many fast food choices and restrooms in the same complex, and after hours there is a 24-hour gas station within walking distance.

Learning how to use EA stations is one thing, a couple of times and you are good to go. We are so frustrated that in San Clemente Ca and Carlsbad Ca, it seems 1 of the measly 3 stations is not operating. Yesterday in Carlsbad, we kept getting an ERROR msg on screen and another ID4 driver using a station next to us said “That one hasn’t been working for weeks!” Calling the Customer Service line, the person kept re-setting the station only to fail repeatedly, and said she had no record of the thing being down for a period of time. For a lot of reasons, this is bad. Doesn’t EA have precise data on EVERY charging station they operate — when it’s being used, how often, and esp. when it’s not functioning. Should we invest in an adapter to charge at Tesla stations and ask EA to reimburse us because they are unable to keep their commitments? Thx in advance.

Hauppauge, NY Update! I took a ride on my Spyder today and there was a technician working on commissioning the EA site. He said it should be online by Friday.

Just by coincidence, I actually met this same technician when I was at the Bloomsburg, PA site earlier this year.

There is a Tesla Supercharger site next door to the Hauppauge EA site and one of the stalls was iced. Luckily, nobody was charging there at the time.

EA charging station at Arundel Mills Mall. Not new but kinda along I95 corridor, central Maryland.
4.1 miles east on MD100 from I95, north parking lot near Dave & Buster's.
Many restaurants and shops and MD Live! Casino and Hotel. Yes, gambling 😁. (Destination chargers at high rise hotel parking.)
6 pedestals, 2 350s, 3 150s, and 1 Chadmo.
Totally used the EA app in Apple CarPlay, only had to plug in after using FE infotainment screen set up. "Play and Plug" 😉.
2 other cars charging at 12:37pm today.

Commack, NY This is another station listed as "coming soon". There are 4 Signet chargers installed waiting for EA to bring them online. It is located just north of the Long Island Expressway at exit 52. (westbound travelers must exit at 53 and follow signs to Commack Rd.) The station is in a Chipotle parking lot and there are many food choices nearby. (Chick-fil-A and Starbucks are next door) There is a 24-hour diner, a 7-11, and a gas station within walking distance for services after business hours. I will update this post when this station comes online.

What is a Signet charger? Is it more desirable (newer) than another type? What other types are there? Inquiring minds want to know 🤔.
