Error Dynamic Cornering Light

Was able to score a Blue ID.4 off the dealer lot, but after two days of ownership I got a notification that there's an error with the dynamic cornering light. Anyone know anything about this?

Is it still there? There are various errors some of us have experienced intermittently, but nothing long-term so far.

It is. Brough the car home Tuesday night, this error flashed Thursday morning, and it's still there as of tonight. I already have an appointment with the dealer to fix some curb rash (on a wheel) that was present at the time of delivery so I'll keep an eye on it. Luckily, the beautiful blue color and all the first edition badges make these initial issues easier to swallow. I'm curious, what other intermittent errors have others reported?

Took me a bit to find it but here were mine:

I had this error, and just put it in park exited the vehicle and re-entered. Works fine now.

I still have this problem, even tried restoring everything to factory settings which just ended up being a big waste of time. I also can't get automatic light assist to work properly using the left hand stalk.

I got this 'Error: Dynamic Cornering Light' today when I left very early in the morning. I turned the feature off in settings and the error went away. I turned it back on; the error came back. As ID.Jolteon did, I did a factory restore ("which just ended up being a big waste of time" ;) ). The error has returned. The funny thing is that I filled out a Volkswagen Quality Survey yesterday from Dr. Andreas Krepp that kind of mentioned headlight problems like this in one of the questions.

I love driving ID.4; it's great rapid transit around town. Mine has quirks in the locks, the foot wave hatch, finicky DCFC port at EA, lane keeping assist, and with mirrors adjusting themselves. I keep thinking it is operator error and muddle on. The last thing in the world I want to do is return to the dealer. It was an awful multi-hour, multi-day experience for me. Unfortunately, a fellow forum member here had an nightmare at the 'only other dealer' in town that made my purchase look like a cakewalk!

Sounds like we're having the same gremlins. My mirrors will still occasionally adjust on their own & I might only get the hatch to open 3/10 tries even after reviewing the training video. Just found the setting for the Dynamic Cornering Light today, which I shut it off and later turned back on. I was really hoping that would solve the problem but it sounds like it doesn't.
Just got my car back and the issue appears to have been resolved after they reflashed the software & verified with VW HQ that all my hardware was in place. I was told a sensor on the left control arm for some reason flagged that a component for the dynamic lighting had been removed/was missing.
With the dynamic light fault. When an error happens like this it may cut out some other features that use the same control unit. If you lock the car for 10 minutes then try again the fault may go.

If the fault remains after this time it will need to go back to the dealership for then to find out the fault.

Once they have the fault code they may know a quick fix. Such as a software update or resetting the control unit.

Worse case scenario is that they may have to replace the control unit or even a light cluster. I have already had to replace a headlight on an ID.3 for a electrical problem (car was brand new).

I just got that fault today at 350 miles. It came on just after a brief but mighty rain storm. After ten more miles it went away. I have a Pro. That trim doesn’t even have dynamic cornering lights, does it?

I don't think you can get the Pro in blue, maybe they meant Pro S.

I was asking about my ID4, which is a Pro trim and white, not blue. Does anyone know if the Pro trim has dynamic cornering lights? I don’t think mine does, which makes the referenced alarm even harder to fathom.
You should be able to tell when making a turn in the dark. It is quite obvious when the cornering light gives you (unexpected) illumination where you are turning to.

I just got this message tonight while taking a 50 mile joy ride and was nearly home in cool clear weather. I have about 5500 miles on my 2021 Dusk Blue 1st Edition. Afterwards, the automatic headlight high beam function was unavailable but the inclement weather lights seemed to work. The dynamic turn lights do not work now. I had just signaled right and flashed my beams on a particularly dangerous blind intersection out in the country. I have parked in the garage and rebooted the infotainment center. It is plugged into level 2 charging and is locked. Will see if the issue persists tomorrow.

I checked the car in the morning and had weird deal where the charge handle was locked. So, unlocked the car and it released but had charged to 100% when I know it was set to 80%. Had to move the slider back. The dynamic cornering light error went away when I backed out of the garage, so I went and got a car wash at lunch. No problem. It then took it for another evening joy ride and all was right with the world again and everything is working, no errors. So, issue cleared itself.
I had the same error message as I was driving yesterday evening. It was just dark enough to turn the light on and the error message popped up. So when I got to the store, got what I needed and came back out, restarted the car and the message went away. I am thinking it’s a software bug but I’ll let the dealer look at it at the 2-month checkup.

ID.Jolteon's answer from a year ago is what the dealer told me for my FE, also.
