I was at step 5, arrived in US for about a week. Then last night got this error message. I called VW care and they will be getting back to me, but has anyone else gotten this message ?

Seems that we have to solve an issue with your reservation

I have been seeing the same error since yesterday afternoon. Clearing cache didn't work, and I've tried multiple devices/browsers. We are not the only two either, I have seen this reported in other threads as well. I'll call the customer care number, but I assume it's a website problem and not a reservation issue.

If you try enough times, I've found it usually starts to work. You may have to remove the /error bit from the URL bar, and then load the page, but it's not a browser caching issue. As a software developer, my guess is some connection issue between backend services when doing the reservation lookup, and retrying a few times seems to make it work eventually.

It's not the first time I have seen this, and in the past it always has worked on a refresh, trying the correct URL again, etc. Starting yesterday though, I've tried many times and no dice on it loading to my reservation page.

Two browsers and 2 devices even after clearing cache same error. I also started fresh from a VW link, as well as removing the /error and reloading the page ...still no go....but please keep sending the suggestions

VW care just called and said all is okay with reservation, but having an issue on the server side with some clients. They are working on it and hope to have resolved tomorrow (they will call back when resolved) VW care is much better than most help desk support.

Seems like we collectively need to dial down them twitchy fingers. We've overloaded their servers before.

It started working again last night for me, and customer care did say they were having known issues with the reservations web site.
