Request to share some suggestions on where and which type (brand) of level 2 charger to buy.

I found some on amazon but was wondering if there are other sites or brands as well.

Do you want a smart EVSE? That bumps the price a little, but there are features that can sometimes be handy. Would you be mounting it inside of a garage, or outdoors?

I personally have a JuiceBox pro 40, and that's a sort of popular one. The ChargePoint unit seems like a decent one as well, but that's just my opinion. If I were mounting outdoors, I might look at Grizzl-E, but that's not a smart EVSE.

Has anyone else gone through Qmerit for the charger installation? I finally had someone come out and give me an estimate. It was about $2800. I know that's a lot. My panel is at the rear of my house, permits, materials, and the charger (Charge Point) is included. But they said that Qmerit may...

I'd love to get the wisdom of the crowd: which is the best charger for my install? Is the PVC conduit a reasonable solution? And does hardwiring make sense? Avoid running exposed PVC, especially in a location where it's susceptible to damage, and in this case you mentioned hot and cold...

Plenty of info available as linked. And this is the "what we like..." thread and not an EVSE discussion per se, although if I cite that I like my ChargePoint and the way it easily interfaces with my ID.4 I'm covered.

I am just looking for a level 2 charging cord. My friends, family & work have the 240V installed in the wall so I am looking for the cord so I can use it when I visit them or at work.

Re: your "240v installed"comment, can you just clarify — the amperage and plug type are important details.
