I just started driving my ID4 with Uber and in the dark I’ve had a few people struggle to find and open the door from outside. Anyone know how to activate the handle lights and puddle light while in the drivers seat?

Open your door as a driver?
Press the key as if you were unlocking the car?

Yeah perhaps pressing the start button may work. I definitely don’t want to open my door every time I pick up a passenger though. Thanks for the start button idea.

in Canada? Do you have a 2023? Curious to know if the statement without folding mirror still comes with the puddle light or not.

Btw, I think you can try unlock the door with your fob.
