Hi! I have a somewhat unusual situation - my infotainment system seems to have the dead touchscreen. Doesn't react on anything.
The screen itself is not dead/black - it is just stuck on the map, and I can't do pretty much anything - it doesn't react. If I press the hardware buttons ( climate, parking assist etc ) - it switches the appropriate screens just fine - but the controls are ... untouchable.
I tried to reboot the system by pressing power button for 10 seconds - it does reboot but nothing changes.
I pulled out that fuse F30 for the infotainment and replaced it. Same result.
I'm afraid it is the hardware issue and it might take some time to get a replacement etc.
Worst of that is that the AC is switched off now, and there is virtually no way to turn it on neither from within the car, nor from CarNet app.
I wonder, considering that I already did the hardest possible reset by power cycling the infotainment with that fuse - is there anything else I can try to get at least AC working? Maybe there is a way to get factory reset or something like this?
I have scheduled the service appointment early next week, the dealer obviously doesn't know what to do about it. But it is still couple of days here, and driving in mid 90F with about 90% humidity is no fun at all.
Thanks!
