This could be something to expect when the ID.4 goes on sale outside of Europe. According to Jürgen Stackmann, VW’s sales chief, the ID.3 is attracting a younger demographic.
Speaking with the
Financial Times, he said "The ID.3 is igniting with a population that is about 10 years younger than the average profile [of our customers], which is around 58 in Europe."
He also said that ID.3 buyers are predominantly
- urban and suburban (not rural)
- male self-described “techies”
- buying the ID.3 as a second car for a household
