Took my first long road trip since purchasing the ID4. Drove almost 1100 miles from north central Arkansas to western central Illinois. Only saw one ID4. Charged at four different EA stations going and the same stations coming back. The only issues I experienced on the trip was with the EA charge stations. There seems to be no consistency with the stations. At two of the stations I had to move to another station to get a charge. Some stations are really slow at starting up, but once going charge well. Even when I needed a charge with less than 40 miles of charge on the ID4, I never got more than about 75 kwh charge. I never saw anything near 150 kwh. EA and VW need to really work on this charging situation. The rear and side traffic alert would stop working after going about 50-75 miles, but would start working again when I restarted. Overall it was a very comfortable trip. Most all of it was on the Interstate traveling about 65-77 MPH.

This morning with only 54 miles left I charged at EA and started out at 105 kw but at about 65% charge it dropped to 55 kw. I have mentioned this to both VW and EA.
You might want to take it into your dealer...

EA can be oddly inconsistent. I got 125kw at a station going from 15%-70% in ~30 minutes. At that same station/outlet, I got 50kw going from 60-80% in ~30 minutes.
Starting at 15% and hitting a leak 125 makes sense. So does about 55 kW starting at a high state of charge. The curve should look something like what's documented here.
