Hi all,

For some reasons, I thought this was already the case before (maybe I remember that from the OD.3), but I read today in a German tech blog that, in Germany, ID.4 models beyond the first edition can now be configured and that the first edition cannot be ordered anymore. There is also a pdf with differences between the various editions.

I hope I pasted the links correctly.

Have fun

I really like the 18" steel wheels. But of course, being in the U.S., they strip out the good tech features but ladle us with the more expensive wheels.

VAG does indeed like to wow us (as in US) with larger wheels. I insisted on 19" for my TTS as I thought/think the 20" on that vehicle look cartoonish, although in truth it's already somewhat Tron-esque. 🤪

I'm really going back on my own logic in this regard swapping to the FE, but I can swap/sell for smaller rims if it comes to that. As far as looks I do prefer the pure-silver of the 20" over the silver-shadow of the 19". And this larger vehicle can certainly handle 20" rims/tires in style. Even at 20" rims the tire sidewall should be adequately comfortable, if not as much as 18/19".

Typically the high end VAG 20" are forged so actually lighter which should help a little bit with range.
