Getting Message: New Login Required

Lately this message appears "New Login Required ". The car still recognizes me and shows my name. I've logged in again but the message reappears.
Any idea?

Ignore it and it goes away?
I have this too. I’ve ignored it and it hasn’t gone away. It still seems to be logged in.
(One of many little software bugs.)

I have this too. It doesn’t go away—the infotainment hangs if you actually try to log in again (perhaps since you’re already logged in) but it doesn’t affect the functionality.
Before this all started, I was having to reconnect Bluetooth every time I wanted to use Apple Play. I restarted the infotainment and then it began to ask to log in even though all works ok. I did log in again but notice keeps appearing. I guess I will ignore it.

I would log in as a guest there are a number of bugs with profiles. I am logged in as a guest with 0 issues and my settings are always saved.
I logged in again, but this time selected via email, using the ID4 screen instead of my phone. After entering email and password I got a message "Login Successful ". All's well now, no more message (so far).

I got this today. I’d assume it’s a result of some kind of server-side maintenance.
I got this today. I logged in again using email.
Got this today with a message that I hadn't logged in for a while, so a new login was needed. I logged in with my email. It offered a QR code to log in with CarNet, but I did not see a way to scan the code in the app. Has anyone managed to log in with the QR code?

Yes, I just opened the camera app on my iPhone and pointed it at the code, clicked on the link that came up and it opened the MyVW webpage.
Logged in with FaceID and was done in seconds.
THe previous time it came up I logged in with email, which took a LOT longer, especially as I have a complex password on my account.

Thanks, I was going to try that if, and when, I get this message again. I also have a complex password and it's a PITA typing it in.
I've been getting this, I reached out to VW support and they said my car was offline and I needed to bring it to the dealer. Everything else seems to work (it shows my user when the car starts).
This happens to me when I've been away from my ID.4 for a period of time (i.e. park at the airport, business trip for 2-3 days). Just happened again after I was away for 14 days on business/vacation.
I've been ignoring that message. I think I logged back in the first time I got it and couldn't tell any difference in how the car or carnet behaved. Has anyone seen any noticeable difference after logging in again?
