Hello, fellow ID.4 owners!

Just took delivery of a new Pro S version, in black with the black/tan interior.
A few days and about 400 miles later. and we love it! So far, all is well...we see some of the same minor niggles that many here have pointed out (voice commands are glacially slow and often inaccurate; infotainment similarly slow), but it's generally been a great experience. The car is quick, compared to our ancient (17 years) Acura TSX, but not silly quick - we do most of our driving in and around Manhattan! It's eminently drive-able, and often just fun....and I'm a long-term petrol-head and sports motorcyclist.

The range seems exceptional - better than advertised so far, and I absolutely love B mode for energy recovery.

Add to that the 3 years free charging, and the fact that when people see (and hear) this car, it gets attention, and this is a really good decision!

Congratulations! The ID range seems to excel in city driving where speeds are slower and there is maximum opportunity for regeneration. It is a good bit thirstier at highway speed on a freeway.

We just purchased ours this week too. We did not preorder… just walked in and lucked out with a great deal from Brooklyn Volkswagen.

We’ve also seen great range driving around the city this week. It helps that the weather has been so nice so we’ve been doing windows down instead of AC. We’ll test out its highway range with a trip up to Boston next week!
