Took the ID4 into my VW dealer for the 30/60 checkup. Took less than an hour. Said they found some codes and cleared them. Do not know what they were. Personally, I think it was a waste of my time. 130 mile round trip and three hours out of my day! I did not bother telling them about the different "glitches" I have experienced in the last seven week, because they are not doing now, so it is fruitless to tell them. The ID4 is the neatest car I have ever owned, but it also seems to have mind of its own!

ID 4s will soon have total AI provided by OTA updates from Cyberdyne Systems. ;)

Yes, Cyberdyne Systems is a good choice. They previously developed SkyNet (not to be confused with CarNet) for SAC-NORAD. That worked well until SkyNet developed self-awareness and a mind of its own. Can't wait for the OTA updates!

It's electric. Between the instant yet silent torque when you want to go faster, and having no idea nor caring what the price of gas is, I just love having an electric car. I wake up every morning to a "full tank" which is about 4-5 times what I need for the average day (and that's at 80% of capacity!). I've never used more than 35% of the battery on any single day with the exception of driving it the 300 miles from the dealership to my house.

The rest of the experience with this car has been...spotty. But I can't buy another ICE car. Just can't.
