I have always loved to drive, and was bummed when my last vehicle (2010 VW EOS, 6 speed manual transmission) got t-boned by a police car, and I had to scramble to find another unique, fun ride. I never expected to go so extremely different from what I had, but it has been an exciting thing to obsess over.
Glad to have found this forum to help me navigate my new ID.4 Pro S. I am a little like a fish out of water, but enjoying it!

White with gray leatherette is my color in First Edition. My I suggest Meguire's Cleaning wipes for the interior?
Thank you. I actually needed to clean the seat on my 4th day... I used the cleaning products I got at the dealer when they upsold a 7 year clear coat thing. It came with 5 cleaning products too.

I am wondering how to clean the oddly-placed shiny black plastic that instantly shows finger prints and collects dust. Do you have any tips? Much appreciated.

same stuff you use to clean the windows with (windex?) and a microfiber cloth.
the window stuff dries without leaving any marks so that helps with the shiny black.

I picked up a pack of 36 microfiber cloths from Costco... they're great at removing fingerprints without chemicals and come in handy when you don't have a napkin. I keep a couple in the door pocket and about 10 in the sliver of storage under the rear floor. I used to keep the smaller ones from the car wash but they stopped handing them out for some reason.

There is also a whole thread about wrapping those piano black parts. I will probably be doing that.

Ohh. I will look that up, as I don't know what "wrapping" means. The sun hits them at times when I am driving and blinds me. Not the best feature for sure.
