Wow, thats great!! Can't wait to see pictures!!If anyone is curious the status finally moved onto pre-production status, the ETA from the dealer is set to September.
Week 33 (Denmark)Wondering if anyone that has ordered a GTX has gotten any estimated delivery dates?
My order has had the status "ordered" ever since I put down the order back in May.
What code is pre-production? 15-2? Something else?If anyone is curious the status finally moved onto pre-production status, the ETA from the dealer is set to September.
When did you order your vehicle?Week 33 (Denmark)
Not sure what you mean with code, it just says: "production plans for your vehicle has begun". Next step is construction of the car, then it's transportation and finally delivery. What code is pre-production? 15-2? Something else?
If you use a web developer tool you can see some internal fields in the vm.com web page. It appears that 15-1 means locked and ready for production and 15-2 means something like "even more ready for production." The next code in the sequence is 20-1, which seems to mean finished production (and the wheel of torture seems to move at this time). When did you order your vehicle?

Fairly sure that's only for the American version, can't find that value on min.volkswagen.se.If you use a web developer tool you can see some internal fields in the vm.com web page. I am elated that at least some people have seen their AWD card produced. That gives me hope that mine will not be far behind.
Here are some details on what I do. I use the Chrome browser.Fairly sure that's only for the American version, can't find that value on min.volkswagen.se.

That's only useful in the US as the codes are coming from VW of America's website - I'm pretty sure they're translating the factory codes (which are different and more granular) into these "order status codes" (which are specific to VW of America). Here are some details on what I do. I use the Chrome browser.
1) Go to the VM.com page that shows the wheel of torture.
2) click on the 3 vertical dots in the upper right corner. A drop down menu should appear.
3) select more tools->developer tools. The right side of the browser should now show the developer tool.
4) Select the network tab. Click the Preserve log check box.
5) Hold down the Ctrl key (Command on a Mac) and press the R key. Your screen should refresh.
6) You should see a bunch of lines. I have one line starting with css and then a bunch of lines starting with graphql.
7) Click on the third graphql line down (may be different in Europe).
8) Expand the data display by clicking on the right facing arrowheads
9) You should expand the second data, then authenticatedGetReservations, then Content, then 0.
10) One of the lines should look like the following:
orderStatusCode: "15-1"
From what I can tell by other's reporting, 15-1 means order locked, 15-2 means entering production and 20-1 means leaving the factory (and the wheel of torture will finally advance).
Same status for my GTX (order in May, sweden)Beginning of May
Gotta love our proximity and ties to GermanySame status for my GTX (order in May, sweden)

Here in DK, you get a base version, and you then have to opt in various packages: I chose all available packages with Topsport Plus interior, Tech Package Plus, Muktimedia Package plus and so forth.@ID4 GTX and @Jon B. Ross what specs did you guys go with as well as what colours?
Addding some decals after just for the heck of itHere in DK, you get a base version, and you then have to opt in various packages: I chose all available packages with Topsport Plus interior, Tech Package Plus, Muktimedia Package plus and so forth.
Moonstone Grey with the standard 20" rims.

Same system in Sweden, I picked everything except DCC as I've never used it on my Tiguan that's equipped with it.Here in DK, you get a base version, and you then have to opt in various packages: I chose all available packages with Topsport Plus interior, Tech Package Plus, Muktimedia Package plus and so forth.

Interesting - I've never had a car with DCC before, so time will tell, whether it was worth the money or not.Same system in Sweden, I picked everything except DCC as I've never used it on my Tiguan that's equipped with it.
Picked Mangan Grey Metallic Black, wonder if colour has any weight on when in the production run the car is built?
Just "GTX - equipped" (AWD, free external colour choice, iq Light, 20" wheels) plus towbar and 19" wintertires, Mangan Grey Metallic Black. I would like to have the AR headup display but not in budget...@ID4 GTX and @Jon B. Ross what specs did you guys go with as well as what colours?
